H. Askey Transport was established at the end of the 19th century. We began using horses and carts and since then have moved with the times. We started using motor vehicles in 1936 and during the second world war we were responsible for carrying spitfire components across the country, and transporting prisoners of war to local work camps. We are proud of our sense of identity and all of our vehicles are painted with the same company colours of 1936. We are a member of the Road Haulage Association and all of our vehicles are regularly serviced to ensure their efficiency and reliability.
H. Askey Transport has a 100 year tradition of providing specialist haulage services. We can distribute anything, from small boxes and pallets to 70 tonne cargos. Anything that can be moved, we move. We are aware of the environmental impact of our business and are working hard to reduce carbon emissions.
